ReAnimated: Chapter Eight        The quiet crunch of the pebbles and rocks under their feet echoed off unknown surfaces surrounding the parking lot.  The sun, barely overlooking the trees at the pavement's edge, cast long shadows that striped and scored the parking painted concrete that separated Allan, Aurora, Twitch, and Eugene from their destination.  Aurora seemed almost silently giddy as they came with yards of the main door.  Eugene kept to himself as he followed behind Aurora.  Twitch almost couldn't keep his shaking in check.  The pump on his shotgun jittered and clicked in his hand as he struggled to keep both his grip and his sanity.  This was the calm befo

        "You two really need to focus please," Eugene interrupted.  "Please stop bickering so that we can find out what's inside…"

This is half of what I spend my time thinking about. Not Giga Drills or anything, but how to make these simple devices real things.

Another one I've been thinking about is a Edward ELric's fullmetal arm blade. You know that blade that extends from the top of his wrist and forearm and out over his hand? I've seen designs for similar devices in the fan creations of the Assassin's blade from Assassin's Creed, and I've been pondering the adaptation of this design to the Fullmetal Blade thing.

But this Gurren Lagann one is one I've been thinking about. I saw a video of someone who made a smaller version of it, activated by a switch, and I've been thinking about changing the type of switch to something cooler and gigatosizing it to fit over the majority of the forearm.

ANyways, I hope to make this thing some day, but for now, I don't really have the knowledge or skills or patience to make it happen. Oh well.

Nope! Thats all I got for this. I done have the skill to make a Gurren Lagann cosplay, but I know a few people who do. Maybe we'll see how they did it! Mine design is more or less just an outline for a general concept.

Only thing that could make it better: Change the design to have a coil activated by the motor, made of a strong yet pliable metal, which upon the initial spin, uncoils and expands to a full-sized (by proportion) Giga Drill. then make said outer substance a rather flexible and elastic material which will easily expand around said coil.
